A wordless performance, suitable for deaf and hard-of-hearing audiences, as well as non-Polish-speaking viewers.

Nothing is so magically attractive as the moon. People from every country from all corners of the world sing its praises, ascribe powers to it, worship it as a goddess or see it as a friend with an amiable face who always comes back. Whatwouldn’t we give to see what it’s like? Does anyone live there? Can you hear anything there?

In Luna, Yung-Tuan Ku brings the moon closer to us. She inventively creates her own moon landscape with a big drum, alamp and projection and we finally discover what those dark patches there are, who is creeping around there and what’s rummaging and rustling about. Luna is a wordless, percussion performance in whichlive music and magical projections conjure up the scene.

“For the young audience, it is half an hour of fantasy and association to the music and images offered by Yung-TuanKu.” – Theaterkrant

Teatr Frisse Oren from the Netherlands warmly invites to take part in a 20-minute sensory workshop immediately following the performance “Moon”(“Luna”).

Created especially for children aged 3–6 years, the workshop offers an imaginative continuation of the performance. It provides a safe and playful space where children and their caregivers can remain in the magical atmosphere of Luna while discovering new ways to explore the senses together.

During the workshop, participants will:

  • experiment with light and projections, shaping their own images and stories,
  • explore gentle percussion instruments and create soundscapes inspired by the performance,
  • engage with additional instruments and participatory elements designed to spark creativity,
  • share a playful experience that encourages curiosity, imagination, and sensory awareness.

This workshop invites children and their families to co-create, discover, and connect through art, transforming the theatre experience into an unforgettable journey of play and wonder.

Frisse Oren wants as many children as possible between the ages of 6 months and 6 years to experience new music performed live, in poetic, relevant and unconventional productions that touch them, their parents and their grandparents aesthetically and emotionally. Music carries you away, nurtures, brings people together and shapes you as a person. It doesn’t start when you are 8, or when you are 4, but in the very first year of life. It’s with this conviction that Frisse Oren makes music shows for children from 6 months to 6 years old: fresh music for the youngest audiences! Above all, Frisse Oren wants to convey the pleasure of creating and listening to music.
