“Vikings of the North Street” is a play about coping with loneliness, building positive self-esteem and relationships with others.

Wiki is an adolescent girl who is fascinated by the Viking world and culture. These interests are a kind of remedy for her increasing loneliness and inability to communicate with her parents. One day, she is visited by Knut the Troll and taken on a sea voyage towards the icy north, during which Wiki has to complete a very important mission.

The girl travels through boundless spaces, meeting along the way a variety of characters drawn from legends and Norse mythology. How will this expedition end? Will she find her destiny among sharks, valkyries, Odin’s ravens or krakens?

Baj Pomorski is a puppet theatre for children, young people, and adults. Their productions are based on both classics and contemporary drama. The artists working at “Baj” focus on combining traditional puppet techniques with modern solutions. For many years, the theatre has been responsible for organising two festivals: Międzynarodowy Festiwal Teatrów Lalek “Spotkania” and Toruńskie Spotkania Teatrów Jednego Aktora. Educational campaigns are an important part of its activities.
