Fairy-Tale Mornings as part of “Dziecinada” at The Depot History Centre

As part of “Dziecinada”, we invite you to Fairy-Tale Mornings at The Depot History Centre! These unique gatherings combine screenings of classic Polish fairy tales with themed workshops for children and parents. A warm atmosphere, beautiful stories, and creative play – the perfect start to the day.

Fairy-Tale Mornings at The Depot History Centre are a promise of wonderful moments for children and parents! Since 2019, families have been gathering here to watch screenings of classic Polish cartoons, followed by creative art workshops. On the screen, characters such as Reksio, Bolek and Lolek, The Adventures of the Little Mouse, The Kidnapping of Balthazar Sponge, and other beloved animations appear—stories that many adults fondly remember from their own childhood. During the workshops, children can develop their creativity by painting, modeling with clay, and making artworks inspired by the fairy tales they have just watched.

The event takes place every second Sunday of the month at 10:30 a.m. On 14th of September, the programme will include three episodes of “Teddy Floppy-Ear”. In the workshop session, participants will create marionettes and hand puppets, nurturing their imagination and manual skills.
