Who among us hasn’t dreamed of traveling into space? Thanks to Urania, that dream can come true!
“Little Urania – The Cosmic Explorer” is a fun and touching story about courage, dreams, and overcoming fears. It shows younger audiences that the most important step toward achieving your goals is facing your own worries. The performance is presented in the style of physical theatre with the use of puppets, accompanied by songs and choreography.
The show was produced by the Polish Astronomical Society as part of a competition organized by the City of Toruń on the occasion of the 550th anniversary of Nicolaus Copernicus’ birth.
Baj Pomorski is a puppet theatre for children, young people, and adults. Their productions are based on both classics and contemporary drama. The artists working at “Baj” focus on combining traditional puppet techniques with modern solutions. For many years, the theatre has been responsible for organising two festivals: Międzynarodowy Festiwal Teatrów Lalek “Spotkania” and Toruńskie Spotkania Teatrów Jednego Aktora. Educational campaigns are an important part of its activities.
