Accessibility „Dziecinada” 2025
For over 10 years now, “Dziecinada” has been showing audiences that theatre can – and should – be accessible to everyone. It has the extraordinary power to connect people – across generations, cultures, and experiences – while supporting the multidimensional development of children, parents, and caregivers.
We see theatre as a tool for transformation. By creating space for shared experiences in a unique and creative environment, we nurture awareness that our peers may perceive the world differently.
During the Festival, all participants have the opportunity not only to experience theatre as an art form but also to connect and interact – naturally, without artificial divisions – through performances that become a platform for encounter, breaking down barriers, and sparking curiosity about others.
In 2025, “Dziecinada” invites children and adults to performances accessible both in form and adaptation:
1. Performance for audiences with various sensory sensitivities, including those on the autism spectrum with interpretation into Polish Sign Language (PJM) and audio description:
- “Kingdoms”, Guliwer Puppet Theatre (Poland)
– A performance based on the story of Marta Stańczyk, an actress on the autism spectrum
