Another original puppet theatre play by the Puppet on the Tour Theatre [Teatr Lalka w Trasie] in which the professional actors (Anna and Kamil Lachowski) are both directors, screenwriters, costume designers, choreographers, music composers, puppet constructors, actors – Puppeteers. The Public Adventures of Mr Pi is a theatrical puppet laboratory. It is a multi-threaded, funny story about loneliness in the broadest sense. A story about acceptance of oneself and the world. The main character, Mr Pi (mapet), encounters a variety of abstract puppet characters on his way: Charles the Mosquito, Subtle Broomsticks, Mr Dust (marionettes, puppets, other puppet forms). These characters convey life values to the young audience.
The Puppet on the Tour Theatre was established in 2016. It is formed by two professional puppeteers by vocation and passion: Anna Olechnowicz-Lachowska and Kamil Lachowski. They are graduates of the Faculty of Puppetry of the State Higher School of Theatre in Wrocław (now the Academy of Theatre Arts Wrocław). The actors are both lyricists and musicians, directors and creators of the puppets and settings used in the performances. They have been creating their fully original puppet performances since the very beginning.
